Memphis Artists for Change has partnered with Know Definition to honor the ways this city continues to grow, create, and carry its people. Memphis has always been fertile ground. This campaign is about recognizing what has been built here, what is still growing, and what deserves to be seen and celebrated in real time.

How to join:

Uplift Memphis through your art, in whatever form you create. This is an open call for expression across disciplines. Create something that reflects how Memphis has poured into you, shaped you, or shown up for you.

This can be a painting, song, poem, photograph, sculpture, garment, culinary dish, cocktail, piece of jewelry, wellness product, or any form of creative expression that speaks to your experience.

Share your work on social media using #GiveMemphisHerFlowers and tag Memphis Artists for Change. Selected works will be featured across platforms and campaign materials.

Opportunities to participate:

• Visual artists
  Submit your work to be featured on our social media, digital showcases, and potential exhibition opportunities.

• Performing artists
  Singers, musicians, poets, DJs, and performers are invited to be considered for upcoming summer programming. This is an opportunity to bring your work to the stage and be part of how Memphis shows up for itself.

• Makers and artisans
  Apply for pop-up vending opportunities connected to campaign events and summer activations, and other community gatherings at MECCA.

• Vendors
  Food vendors, beverage creators, and experience-based businesses are invited to participate in our summer events. We are building spaces that reflect the full culture of Memphis, and that includes what we eat, drink, and share in community.
