Jus Bentley

Memphis based recording artist, Jus Bentley, has been a driving force in the Memphis music scene for the past few years. Jus Bentley got her start competing in showcases and talent shows at different venues around the city. Her single at the time “BU$Y”, produced by platinum producer Hitkidd, started to buzz and she began to make connections outside of the city. Due to this success, Jus Bentley grew a loyal fan base and started a clothing line called “Busy Brand”. In 2018, Jus Bentley reached new heights by being the opening act on Don Trip’s “One Night Only” 13 city tour along with Star Lito. With the tours success, her song “BUSY” earned a national music placement on a Starz network show called “P Valley”.

Like most artist starting out, the tricky part is finding your sound. But, when you listen to Jus Bentley’s music, you find a common theme of positivity and growth. Like in her latest single “DISCIPLINE” , she highlights the importance of setting goals and staying focused to achieve them. With the traditional heavy bass & thick snare of the memphis sound, she uses her lyrics to paint a picture thats relatable to every age group. Her main objective is to change the narrative of her city by pumping in as much positive music as possible

Jus Bentley’s creativity stems from the freedom to record and put out music on her own terms. Growing up and watching how her idols like Missy Elliot, Queen Latifah and Lauryn Hill speak with such conviction, it sparked the interests to recreate that feeling. Motivational music, as Jus Bentley calls her style of music, is art that can be shared with the young and the old.
