What to Expect at the Memphis Black Family Reunion
We're excited to welcome you to a weekend of fellowship, culture, music, food, and community! To help you prepare, here's what you can expect during your visit.

The Memphis Black Family Reunion is designed to feel like a true family gathering. We encourage you to bring:
Lawn chairs
Blankets
Picnic baskets and coolers (subject to festival guidelines)
Small tables and games
Family-friendly decorations to personalize your gathering space
Create your own comfortable spot, relax with family and friends, and enjoy the festival throughout the day.
Food & Beverages
A variety of local food vendors and food trucks will be available throughout the park, offering everything from classic Memphis favorites to healthy and specialty options. Beverage vendors will also be located throughout the festival grounds.
Children's Zone
Families can enjoy a dedicated Children's Zone featuring activities, games, entertainment, arts and crafts, and interactive experiences designed for children and youth throughout the weekend.
Park Grills
Existing park grills will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees are welcome to use them while following all park safety rules and leaving the area clean for others.
Security & Safety
For everyone's safety, all guests will enter through designated security checkpoints. Bags, coolers, and other items may be subject to inspection. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work together to create a safe, welcoming environment for everyone.

Designated accessible (ADA) parking will be available near the festival area.
